Stiletto Lamp

When you are an engineer at heart, but you watched a trailer of a Netflix documentary on art and you suddenly feel like Picasso! Yep, this is art. It is a hand-crafted life-size high heel stiletto that doubles up as a study-lamp.

 

It runs on AA batteries that are easily accessible and replaceable. The pencil heel of the stiletto is detachable; removing this heel reveals a lens with an LED. The heel itself is a switch; the LED is OFF when the heel is attached and the LED automatically turns on when the heel is detached. Slick!

 

Before you say "Yeah this is cool but it serves no purpose", hear me out. I had this art placed neatly in the background during my Skype interview with the Admissions Committee of Duke University. Almost two years later, I graduated from Duke. I'll leave it up to you to put two and two together.
